Contract Administrator

Position Summary

The Contract Administrator is responsible for providing contract administration support to the Procurement Officer for Professional Service Contracts and Service Authorizations.

Job Duties

  • Maintains contract administration files for Professional Services.
  • Maintains contract compliance with prime consultants.
  • Oversees the administrative procurement procedures to ensure conformance with ALCOSAN procurement policies
  • Utilizes data management software to compile and organize data and prepare reports.    
  • Assists in the implementing a centralized project management database.
  • Participates in negotiations with Departments on Professional Services costs and terms and conditions.
  • Conducts due diligence as required on successful cost proposals.
  • Assists in reviewing submittals for completeness while maintaining the integrity of procurements.
  • Oversees invoices, as requested by the Project Manager, of professional services.  Maintain the documentation of any corrections/concerns.  Work with the Project Manager to address/mitigate these concerns.
  • Assists in implementing the Professional Services Procurement Manual, including developing and providing training on contract terms and conditions.  
  • Assists in maintaining and updating relevant procurement policies and procedures.
  • Performs closeout activities on completed contracts

Minimum Education Level Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Business Law, Finance or a related field.
 

Minimum Experience Required

Five (5) years’ experience in Contract Administration including terms and conditions, both cost and fixed.  Three (3) years’ experience with Engineering and Professional Services Task Order Contracts.
